The Board entered Sergei Gerasimov, Alexander Deyneka, Konstantin Yuon, David Shterenberg, Pavel Kuznetsov, and other important Soviet artists. * August 2 — Was founded the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists. As the first Chairman of the Board was elected artist Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. * Alexander Samokhvalov created his famous painting "Girl in a T-shirt."
